Quote: “My studies provided me with a solid knowledge base. More to the point, they allowed me to develop an effective approach to problem solving.”

Study Title: MSc in Computer Engineering from the University of Pisa, 2011 (summa cum laude)

Full Story: I work as an R&D Engineer at INRIA, Grenoble, France. INRIA is a French national research institute on informatics and automation, and it works at close contact with both university and major industries. More specifically, at the moment I am working within the SoC-Trace project, whose goal is designing and implementing an open source management trace infrastructure for embedded systems. One of the major project partners is STMicroelectronics. Before joining INRIA, I worked as a software Engineer at Evidence S.r.l., Pisa, a spin-off of Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna, whose core business is application and embedded systems software.
After graduating, I found a job very quickly. I received many offers, also thanks to the job placement service of the University of Pisa, and sat for several job interviews, with positive outcomes. The decision to study Computer Engineering in Pisa, originated by my own interest in and passion for informatics, proved to be a good one also in a career perspective. My studies provided me with a solid knowledge base. More to the point, they allowed me to develop an effective approach to problem solving.
